Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report September 2014

GON Staff | August 27, 2014

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.5 feet below full pool. Temp: 85 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament director and angler Dennis Hudson reports that bass fishing is fair. “Buzzbaits and frogs fished early from mid-lake up are about the only way to catch anything right now. There’s a lot of milfoil and hydrilla in the middle of the lake. Some people are starting to catch some bass with ChatterBaits around the grass. Most of the topwater bites are coming on Pop-Rs and Spro frogs along the seawalls. Once the topwater bite stops early in the morning, that’s pretty much it until the sun sets.”
