Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report October 2015

GON Staff | September 30, 2015

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: High 70s. Clarity: Some stain.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson says that despite cooling water temperatures that bass are still tough to catch. “We can see some bass starting to move to the creeks, and that’s going to help the bite. Hopefully, it is going to get better. These grass fish have been tough to catch all summer. We really don’t know what this drawdown is going to do to us. On Oct. 11, they are going to start a 4-foot drawdown that is supposed to last three weeks. Hopefully, that will kill some of this grass.”
