Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – October 2008

GON Staff | September 23, 2008

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1.2 feet below full pool. Temp: Low 80s. Clarity: Slight stain in the creeks; clear on the main lake.

Bass:
Good, said tournament angler James Murphy. James said the fish are up shallow on trashpiles and wood structure in the creeks. It’s been taking 11 to 13 pounds to win the Tuesday-night tournaments over the last few weeks. Find a milk run of trashpiles, and throw a shaky-head Trick Worm in either green pumpkin or junebug. A Rapala DT10 in shad color or a Normans Deep Little N in pearl or shad fished around trash will also produce. Dock fishing will also catch some fish. Throw a black/blue jig with black/blue Zoom Super Chunk to docks.
