Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report November 2013

GON Staff | October 30, 2013

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 7.7 feet below full pool. Temp: Upper 60s. Clarity: Lightly stained.

Bass: “Bass fishing has been really good,” says tournament director Dennis Hudson. “The water is so low that you can only get a boat in at Poor Boy’s Landing and Halawakee Creek, but it is worth the effort. The bass are extremely shallow. You can take a green jig of any kind or a black-and-blue jig and catch fish. They are holding near wood and rocks or anything else shallow, and you can also catch them on clay points. The topwater bite was really good for several days, but it has slowed some.”
