Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – March 2020

GON Staff | February 27, 2020

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 2 feet below full pool. Temp: 58 degrees. Clarity: Stained to muddy.

Bass: Tournament angler Dennis Hudson reports, “The lake is running due to the recent rainfall. Bass fishing has been up and down with the weather. Red squarebill crankbaits have been producing in the mouths of the coves and points. ChatterBaits and spinnerbaits along seawalls in the clearer water are catching some good ones, as well. As the water warms to the low 60s, soft plastics will start producing around the spawning areas. Senkos, Texas-rigged lizards and Trick Worms are all good choices. Look for spawning fish toward the end of March.”
