Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – June 2019

GON Staff | May 28, 2019

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.9 feet below full pool. Temp: Upper 70s and rising. Clarity: Starting to clear up from stained conditions after a big rain.

Bass: Tournament director and competitor Dennis Hudson reports, “This is a good time to throw topwaters early and late. Pop-Rs and small prop baits work well around bream beds in the pockets. Hollow-body frogs are good around main-lake brush and grassbeds. During the middle of the day, Texas rigs and shaky heads are good around main-lake brush and boat docks. It’s hard to beat green pumpkin for your worm color—maybe with a little chartreuse on the tail.”
