Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report July 2017

GON Staff | June 29, 2017

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1.2 feet below full pool. Temp: 84 degrees. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “Fishing has been slow during the day, but we’ve been getting some mayfly hatches, and that has helped some. Trick Worms tossed under overhanging limbs and docks and anywhere else the mayflies are falling off and hitting the water will get you bit. Fishing is better at night this time of the year on this lake, and it will be that way for a while. Hollow-body frogs are taking a lot of nighttime bass around the weeds, and there are even some buzzbait bites. Small, 6-inch worms fished on light line under pier lights are also taking bass.”
