Bass: Fishing is up and down, says tournament director Dennis Hudson. “We had an afternoon tournament here the other day that took 21 pounds to win. They were fishing frogs in the grass. The frog fishing has been pretty good. Frogs and buzzbaits are doing pretty well in the grass at daylight, but that isn’t lasting long at all. It’s getting so hot now that very few people are fishing during the day.”
