Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report February 2017

GON Staff | February 1, 2017

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: 58 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament promoter Dennis Hudson reports, “February is jig ’n pig time on the boat docks and blowdowns on Harding. On windy days when you have a northwest wind, you can’t go wrong with square-bill crankbaits and Rat-L-Traps on the wind-blown banks. It makes for a rough day of fishing, but it can be really good. Now all that’s if the water temperature cools off. It was almost 60 degrees on Jan. 21. I caught a 5-pounder on a buzzbait during a tournament Jan. 21 and that’s unheard of.”
