Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – December 2019

GON Staff | November 22, 2019

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.4 feet below full pool. Temp: 55 degrees. Clarity: Some slight stain in the creeks but clear on main lake.

Bass: Tournament director and competitor Dennis Hudson reports, “Now that the lake is back to full pool, the bass should be moving into the creeks following the shad. Squarebill crankbaits and spinnerbaits are good choices on wind-blown points and seawalls. Lipless crankbaits fished on main-lake points can be really good with the presence of current, as well. Use shad colors for clear water and red or chartreuse for stained. As the water cools, dock fishing with jigs and plastics is going to become another way to catch some good fish. Use black and blue if the water is stained and green pumpkin for clearer water.”
