Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – December 2018

GON Staff | November 28, 2018

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 1 foot below full pool. Temp: Mid 50s. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “The bass are moving into the creeks and coves. Good numbers can be  caught using squarebill crankbaits around the mouths of the coves to about halfway in the creeks and coves. Shad-colored baits work better in the clearer water, but crawfish colors work better in the stained water. Pitching black or brown jigs around docks and laydowns is producing, as well. The Lazy Man winter tournaments happen every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time from Idle Hour Landing.”
