Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report December 2016

GON Staff | November 22, 2016

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 6 feet below full pool. Temp: Low to mid 60s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson said, “They drew the lake down 4 feet to do some maintenance work back in mid-October, and with no rain, it’s still down 4 feet. It just made bass fishing that much harder. The water is as clear as I have seen it in a while. The bass have moved into the creeks, but it’s still hard to catch a bass of any size. Hopefully, this drawdown will kill some of this grass. The bass have been in the grass all year and have really been tough to catch. These cooler days and nights should make things a lot better, and if we could get some rain to stain up the creeks some, it should really get good.”
