Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report December 2013

GON Staff | November 26, 2013

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.6 feet below full pool. Temp: Upper 50s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: “Bass fishing is a little slow,” says tournament promoter Dennis Hudson. “The water has been coming up pretty good, and I think that has put the fish in a funk. It’s just not as good as it was. There are not a whole lot of people fishing, really. A few bass are being caught on shad-colored, square-bill crankbaits. Small, white spinnerbaits with single willowleaf blades are catching some. I hear some people say they are catching some a little deeper on football jigs. It’s just hit or miss, and I think the fish are just really scattered with the water coming up like it is. When the water gets stabilized, it should be pretty good again.”
