Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report April 2014

GON Staff | March 27, 2014

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.4 feet below full pool. Temp: Low 60s. Clarity: The main lake is clear.

Bass: Tournament director Dennis Hudson reports, “There are a lot of buck bass on the banks, and fishermen are catching then with plastics. Jigs and Trick Worms fished around piers are catching them some days, but some days they are there, and some days they are not. I believe if this weather ever stabilizes, they’ll be on the bed in a few weeks.”

Crappie: “This crazy water and crazy weather have the crappie confused, too,” Dennis said. “I went out Monday night and did good fishing under the pier lights and went back Wednesday, and they were gone. They just moved away from dock lights.”
