Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – August 2019

GON Staff | July 24, 2019

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.6 feet below full pool. Temp: 83 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Tournament director and competitor Dennis Hudson reports, “Bass fishing is slow and tough. Five to 10 pounds is winning most weekend club tournaments. The best techniques right now are topwaters and small worms like Ned Rigs, wacky-rigged Zoom Trick Worms and shaky heads. There are plenty of mayfly hatches right now, but the bass bite is a little slower than normal. But the bream bite is on.”
