Jim Brooks, of Buckhead, found this snake stretched out across the neighborhood road in Morgan County. The 56-inch timber rattlesnake had no rattles, just a nub.

This High Falls Lake flathead caught by Bob Barfield the evening of June 21 broke the scale. Bob released the big catfish back into the lake.

Cole Forrest came home to Carrollton from college last Thanksgiving break and killed this 130-inch Coweta County buck. It was the third buck in a line chasing a doe.
