Bethany Rountree, a GON subscriber from Macon, was fishing from a canoe on a Piedmont NWR lake on March 5 when she caught and released this big bass—her personal best.

A Wilcox County hunt produced the first gobbler of the season for GON subscriber Chance Smith, of Warner Robins. The bird had a 10-inch beard.

This Jasper County 10-pointer from the Oconee National Forest netted 137 6/8. Brandon Turner, of Warner Robins, shot it on Nov. 20.

GON subscriber David Ezell, of Whigham, with a Decatur County gobbler he killed at 2 p.m. on April 30.

Congrats to Diane Roberson, who killed her first buck in Monroe County on Jan. 1.

It’s the lucky hat! Jacob Davis, of Pendergrass, shot this Jackson County 10-pointer on Dec. 31.

This 10-lb., 27-inch bass had a smaller bass in its mouth when Lee Davis caught it on March 6. Lee was fishing a private pond in Putnam County when the bass hit a Rapala Jointed Minnow.

Samuel Butler and his dad Joel, of Covington, with a wild hog they killed near Perry on Jan. 15.

Scotty Duckworth was hunting deep in the Union County mountains when he killed this 9-point buck on Nov. 26.

Timmy Manac, of Argyle, with a gobbler he killed near Fargo, which is in Clinch County.

 

Here’s 85-year-old Glenn McBay with a nice gobbler he killed solo hunting on May 1 in Taliaferro County. The bird had a 10 3/4-inch beard and 1 1/8-inch spurs. Glenn called in two gobblers while hunting in his deer box with his Polaris parked under it.

Lake Marie in Dawson County produced this 8.3-lb, 23 3/4-inch largemouth for A.J. Landry.

GON subscriber Lane Worley, of Gordon County, holds his new personal best, an 8-lb., 14-oz. bass caught April 18 from a private pond near Fairmount.

Katie Durham with an 8-pointer taken with her bow in Paulding County. It was Katie’s second bow-killed buck, and now she’s going after a gobbler with the bow.
