GON Youth Shoot-Out Kicks Off Outdoor Blast

Week 2 winner Smisson Rigdon had the overall highest-scoring buck in the GON Youth Big-Buck Contest. His bow buck netted 156 1/8 inches.

Shortly after the 2024 Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast kicks off on Friday, July 26, GON will host its annual Youth Shoot-Out BB gun competition. These young shooters each qualified by having the best-scoring youth (15 and younger) buck during a week of deer season.

These weekly youth winners will compete for a chance to win a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors and a weekend hunting trip to Woods-N-Water, or a rifle from CVA and BPI Outdoors. In addition, they have already won a LockedOn 360 Mobile Gun Vise, a Rugged Road Outdoors 30 Soft Cooler and a personalized Shoot-Out jersey from Realtree.

So who qualified for their ticket to the kids’ big dance? Our group of winners are listed below. One of them is going to have $3K to spend before going on an exciting deer and hog hunt. It’ll all go down at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 26 at the 2024 Ag-Pro Outdoor Blast. All Outdoor Blast show-goers are encouraged to come and cheer these kids on.
