Allen Mcvay hefts a big ol’ blue catfish caught from the Flint River at Lake Seminole.

Andy Holloway, of Comer, with his Madison County 10-pointer killed last season on a very warm Nov. 25 evening as it chased does in a hay field.

This Cherokee County buck was chasing a doe through a hardwood bottom last season on Nov. 17. Audrie Christian, of Ball Ground, dropped the 8-pointer with one shot.

Temple’s Josh Smallwood shot this Douglas County 8-pointer last Nov. 21 while hunting a ridge where white oak acorns were dropping.

After setting some jug lines for catfish on the Savannah River below the Thurmond Dam, Tyler Marde, of Evans, went into a little oxbow to fish while giving the jugs some time. He cast a worm under a bobber and caught this 2-lb., 4.3-oz. shellcracker.

Tyler Jasper Williams was 17 last season when he got his first-ever deer, this nice buck killed in Butts County.

This Wilkes County gobbler had 1 1/4-inch spurs and a 12-inch beard. Alpharetta’s Rick Burge got into a yelping contest with a hen, and she pulled the gobbler into gun range.
