Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – November 2019

GON Staff | October 26, 2019

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 7.6 feet below full pool. Temp: Low 70s. Clarity: Mostly clear, with more color up the lake.

Bass: Tournament director and competitor Dennis Hudson reports, “Now that the temperatures are falling, the bass are starting to get more active, and the fishing is improving. Most fish are being caught close to the bank. Topwater action is good with buzzbaits, ploppers and frogs. Color doesn’t seem to matter much. Squarebill crankbaits, ChatterBaits and spinnerbaits in shad colors are also working well. The bass are pretty much all over. They can be found on the main river all the way to the backs of the coves, but near the mouths of the pockets having been best. Jigs and plastics pitched into any wood is a good opportunity for a good fish now, as well.”
