VANDERMAN 1897 Wells Fargo Strongbox
This is a very old Oak and Steel Strongbox manufactured by VANDERMAN Manufacturing Co. PATENT JULY 13, 1897.
I acquired this strongbox 40 years ago from a friend whose Grandfather retired from Wells Fargo. He had worked for Wells Fargo in the 1920s. This type strongbox was frequently used on trains.
This is an opportunity to acquire a great collectible from our history. I have reached the time that I must let go of items that I have collected over the last 50 years.
This type Wells Fargo Strongbox normally sells for $1500 or more. I’m offering this Strongbox for $950 Or Best Offer. I will consider coins or silver in trade.
