Spanish Mauser 1905
My grandfather got this gun sometime before mid-60’s. He put it in his closet and said he never shot it. He lived in downtown Atlanta. It passed on to me around 2000 and I put it in my gun cabinet where it has been since.
On the receiver is Fabrica De Armas Oviedo1905. I can find no caliber markings but believe it is a 7mm. The serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, barrel, and magazine bottom plate match and are A5521. It seems to be in pretty good condition especially considering it is 125 years old.
