ATV Disc Harrow tow Type. I paid almost $600 (I have the origianal receipt showing item cost and tax. To prepare the harrow for tilling I had Steel pipes welded at the corners so that Extra weight could be added to the frame to improve harrowing. I paid $200 for the steel piping and $110 for 180 pounds of free weight where I added 45 pounds to the corners. This extra weight really enhances the effectiveness of the harrow. I easily towed the harrow with a Yamaha 400. Over terrain with thick and sticky vines and thick dog fennel it takes 3 passes to those weeds torn up. For bushes with one plus inch thick growth using a pick ax will be necessary to uproot bigger shrub. Well in a completely perfect world I would like to get $700 for the harrow and weights, but I realize it is not a perfect world so I’m flexible. I’m listing as the asking price $600. If your replanting old food plots the harrow is great at turning over the soil. An area covered with bigger bushes and trash plants will need some extra work. I’m 74 and I put i two good looking food plots last season. It will do the job necessary to prepare your food plots.
