Heard County Hunt Club Has One Opening
Small hunting club on 260 acres of privately owned land in southwest Heard county has one opening for the 2025 deer and small game season. Membership is for deer, small game, and predator hunting only, our Turkey population needs to rebound before any hunting can take place. Not much in the way of rules or regs, 1 trophy buck per member, all the does your household will consume, and spouses along with children under 18 may hunt in same stand with you. Land is made up of planted pines, pastures, and small sections of hardwoods with plenty of water flowing throughout. Each hunter can designate two spots as their own and everyone has access to the already established communal stands. We normally plant at least 3 plots that are open to first come first served on a sign in basis. Land has an excellent network of established roads all of which are well maintained and accessible by atv. In regard to feeding we are using the Tectonic daytime feeders and not using open troughs or spin feeders. I usually keep one or two of my own feeders operating year round. We do not have a camp site on the land as there really is not a good spot for one. Any questions please reach out.
