Gunsmith Lathe, Milling Machine, Tooling

I have put together a great home gunsmith setup. I have built match winning rifles with this layout. I bought the lathe new and the Taiwan made Bridgeport clone milling machine from the original owner. He was an advanced hobbyist who special ordered the machine for his home shop back in 1983. It has never been in a Job Shop production environment. It’s basically pristine except for the normal cosmetic tarnish from lubricants and age. It is starting to leak oil enough to need new seals installed. When the original owner ordered the machine he also ordered a full rebuild kit with all new bearings and seals so the needed seals are on hand. I also have all the manuals. The lathe and the milling machine have OEM single phase motors. No phase converter needed.

I have a lot of tooling, including a few chamber reamers and GO gauges. Micrometers, dial indicators, Interapid dial test indicator, Bbl vise, action wrenches internal and external, Hawkeye bore scope, Kennedy toolboxes, vertical / horizontal bandsaw, homebuilt belt grinder, bench grinder, drill press, Foredom flexible shaft foot control die grinder and burrs and various other tools that can be negotiated in or out of the deal. I also have various rimfire and centerfire rifles that I have built that would make great basis for learning accurizing, rebarreling , restocking, etc. Anschutz 64, Remingon 700 and 40X CF and 40X RF, and a Drop Port Viper 30BR benchrest rifle. There are some bbl blanks or used bbls for reworking.

Price is negotiable . $8000 with no guns but come talk if you are serious. This setup has been very rewarding and I learned a lot about how to make a rifle shoot 5 shot dots.. No trades,

I am in Sugar Hill about one mile from city hall. I have no way to load the machines. It will be the buyer’s responsibility to figure this out. I paid professional machinery movers to move the milling machine.
