On the last cast of the day, Dabney Norton, of Albany, rolled this 25 1/2-inch 10 1/2-lb. bass. She let the bass go.

Jessica Smith, of Social Circle, shot this Walton County 8-point buck on Dec. 8 last season.

After several years of trail-cam pics, this Marion County 10-pointer finally stepped out on a firebreak, offering a 40-yard shot for Canton’s Dan Mosley.

Sparta’s Michael Evans had a history with this Hancock County drop-tine buck. Michael killed the buck Nov. 8.

Marshall Harris, of Alamo, with his Wheeler County 10-pointer killed last season on Nov. 7.

Bowhunting during the second week of gun season paid off for Tucker Brantley, of Macon. Tucker arrowed this 9-pointer last Oct. 30 in Crawford County.

Candler County produced this 8-pointer last Oct. 25 for Ricky Jones, of Metter.

Keith Allen Guidebeck, of Canton, with a Fayette County 7-pointer he killed last season on Oct. 24.

Heath Hudson, of Milledgeville, had to shoot this 8-pointer left-handed. He reports the bucks were grunting and chasing in Baldwin County last Oct. 17.

Brandon Holcomb, of Atlanta, got his first-ever buck last season on Nov. 7 while hunting in Talbot County. A week later Brandon got No. 2—a 12-pointer.

GON subscriber William Madden, of Buford, caught and released this 26-inch Lanier bass on March 10. He estimates the bass weighed 11 1/2 pounds.

Lemarr Humphrey, a GON subscriber from Coosa, killed this big hog in Floyd County on Feb. 28.

Eric Shirley, of Toccoa, caught this “golden trout” in White County on March 28. The 5-pounder is the first golden—a hatchery-bred rainbow—that Eric has seen from the river.

Shawn Porter, of Watkinsville, with his first coyote, taken on Feb. 29 in Warren County while hunting with Stacey Chancey, who was doing the calling.

A spinnerbait tempted this Clarks Hill largemouth on April 7 for Hunter McCurley, of Lincolnton.

Angela Stinchcomb, of Covington, caught this 40-lb. carp on a homemade bait while fishing in the pouring rain on April 2. It’s the biggest carp ever caught from the Newton County lake.
