It’s almost time for GON’s 2021 Coyote Cull. Jeff Potts got this yote in Haralson County last summer after the 2020 deadline. “I know this one will not count, but no more eggs for this guy.”
This 16-point Peach County buck nicknamed “The Freak” was killed opening day of muzzleloader season by Ryan Lynch. The buck stopped to make a scrape and licking branch on the edge of a cotton field. Ryan said it was an old buck they had been after for years, and it had a live weight of 256 pounds.
Summer Stafford says “Girls hunt too!” She proved it with this 9-point buck she killed opening weekend in Macon County. It’s Summer’s third nice buck.
Congrats to Andy Lane on his first-ever buck! Andy had taken some does over the years, but his Warren County first buck won’t be easy to top.
Now this was an eventful hunt! First, Ben Cheeks arrowed a coyote. Then he got a 9-point buck estimated to be 5 years old that should make the Hart County bowhunting records once it’s officially measured. Ben got the buck on Oct. 4 at around 3:30 in the afternoon.
That’s a big spotted bass! Joey Patterson boated the magnum spot at Carters Lake on Feb. 24 while fishing with his good friend Curtis Easley.
Happy dang birthday! Chase Wallace got this Greene County 10-pointer while hunting on his birthday last November.

It only took a short 30-minute sit in the stand on Nov. 16 before this Jones County 10-pointer stepped out for Cody Hodges, of Macon.

Josh Hall, of Thomasville, had a heck of a season in one morning while hunting the family farm in Worth County on Nov. 14. Josh dropped an 8-pointer at 6:45 a.m., and five minutes later a wider 9-point with a broken-up rack from fighting stepped out.
This Butts County buck was checking a scrape the morning of Nov. 3 when Dakota Kelly was able to put an arrow in the right spot.
GON member Keith Swilling, of Chatsworth, took a short 3-mile float on the Conasauga River March 12. He got one bite, but what a pretty spotted bass!
Congrats to Robert Kolar on his first gobbler. Robert rolled this Wheeler County bird last season on April 22.
