Here’s one of two gobblers killed by Todd Bell, of Blakely, last year in Early County. That’s his son Banks helping show the bird off.

Blake Edward Michael, 19, of Clarkesville, caught this huge 12-lb. bass on a Beetle Spin Feb. 19 out of a private pond in Hancock County.

This is one of two nice Cherokee County bucks killed by T.G. Byrd, of Waleska, this past season.

Stephen Reaves, of Watkinsville, killed this Oconee County 8-pointer on Nov 9.

Kevin Bradford, of Naylor, caught this 8-lb., 2-oz. largemouth on March 7 at Lake Alapaha.

Kay Brown, of Cedar Bluff, Ala., caught this 18-lb. striper on the Oostanaula River outside of Rome on May 23.

“Fast walkin’ to the dirty talkin,” was how Joey Livesay, of Ballground, described the killing of his third tom of the season last May in Emanuel County.

The Ward girls, of Cumming, did a number on the hogs in Jefferson County this past winter. Fern Ward (below) killed her first-ever hog in December. Jennifer Ward (above) killed her first-ever porker while hunting with her dad on Jan. 2.

James Newton, of Guyton, ended his turkey season in a hurry last March 25 in Effingham County. He killed these three jellyheads with a single shot.

Rick Jones, of Dallas, killed this opening-day gobbler in Carroll County last spring. The bird weighed 23 1/2 pounds and had a 10 1/2-inch beard.

Ray Long, of Good Hope, killed his “buck of a lifetime,” this Walton County 10-pointer on Nov. 11.

Last March 21, Randy Laster and Ken Crawford, both of Griffin, (from left) doubled up on these birds in Pike County.

Harry Mullins, of Newnan, killed this fine Carroll County gobbler last April 30. With multiple beards, it scored 96 points in the NWTF rankings and is the No. 67 atypical gobbler in Georgia.

Homer Holder, of Dahlonega, caught this monster rainbow trout on Feb. 22 from the Chestatee River.

Bob Dickson, of Madison, caught this redfish on a fly Feb. 27 while fishing out of Saint Simons with Capt. Scott Owens.
