Shon Dawson and his son Lance caught this enormous flathead at High Shoals Lake in September. Shon said it pegged a set of 50-lb. scales.

Chris Bache, of McIntyre, caught this 52-lb. flathead while jugging on Lake Oconee this summer. It would have been a lake record on a rod and reel.

Sherry Shirley, of Wrens, killed her first buck ever last Halloween, a 160-lb. Jefferson County 9-pointer.

This 13.25-lb. largemouth was caught in Decatur County by Nick Weathersby, of Climax, on Feb. 27.

Larry Hammock, of Monroe, killed this Morgan County 10-pointer last Nov. 1.

This 430-lb. Sumter County hog was part of the July 4 festivities for Earl and David Harbuck, Ricky, Brandon and Shane Grier, all of Marion County. It took five dogs and five people to get the pig tied up.

Benjamin Edwards killed this Troup County 10-pointer in his backyard last Oct. 30. His nephew Austin stepped in the photo to help show it off.
