Andrew Garmon, of Hephzibah, was hunting in Burke County this past season when he shot this 11-pointer.

Chuck Schandera, of Cleveland, was hunting in Hall County with his son last Nov. 19 when he killed this 7-pointer.

A last-minute decision to hunt a different stand paid off with this Oglethorpe County 10-pointer. Greg Gillespie, of Commerce, killed the buck on opening morning of gun season Oct. 21.

It was tough seeing deer this season because of wild hogs on Darrel Poole’s Jefferson County property, so Darrel got as far from the hog sign as he could and killed this 8-pointer on Nov. 11.

Hunting a hardwood ridge surrounded by planted pines opening day of gun season produced this Jasper County 9-point buck for James Mitchell, of Conyers.

This was the largest of three bucks that walked into a food plot on opening morning of gun season in Laurens County. James Ivey, of Rockledge, dropped the 10-pointer in its tracks.

Jesup’s Henry White said he watched this buck grow for four years and finally got the Wayne County 8-pointer on Oct. 24 last season.

Chase Daniels, of Alpharetta, killed a coyote on Nov. 26 while deer hunting in Wilkinson County.

Anna Ray, of Good Hope, killed her first deer on Jan. 13 while hunting a food plot in Morgan County. It was one of 10 deer she saw that afternoon.
