Bartletts Ferry Fishing Report – May 2020

GON Staff | April 30, 2020

Bartletts Ferry: Level: 0.9 feet below full pool. Temp: Mid to upper 60s. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament angler Dennis Hudson reports, “Bass fishing has been good for the last few weeks. It will probably slow down some until the water clears up. By then the bass will be in the early summer patterns. The fish will be roaming around a good bit. Topwater early and late will be good bets. Buzzbaits, frogs, poppers and floating worms can be good now. The fish can be found both on the main river and in the coves. Covering a lot of water will improve your chances of finding the active fish. And as always, some fish can be found around the docks using wacky-rigged Trick Worms and shaky heads.”
