A White County pond produced this wintertime hawg for Jeffery Knope, of Cleveland. The 12-lb., 3-oz. bass hit a watermelon-colored Yum Dinger worm on Dec. 21.

Jackie Burdette, of Covington, killed these two Franklin County coyotes on Jan. 31. “Predator hunting has become an exciting pastime, while helping the farmers who lease our property from the loss of the new calves,” he said.
Marty Conley, a 76-year-old Viet Nam Air Force vet from Americus, shot his best buck to date this season while hunting on a private lease in Sumter County.
This 7-point was Michele Barnett’s first buck. She killed it in Wilkes County on Nov. 8. Michele lives in Murphy, N.C.
The kids were excited when dad brought this big buck home. Terry Boyd, of LaGrange, killed the 9-pointer in Troup County in 2018.
Truman Padgett, a GON member from Dalton, got this Whitfield County buck while bowhunting on Christmas Eve.
James Jones, of Rock Spring, with his impressive Walker County buck. James killed the 13-pointer on Oct. 22 last season.
Steven Miller said he has bowhunted his entire life, but he just switched to traditional archery and absolutely loves it. “I have killed many deer over 140-inch class with a compound, but now hunting with traditional equipment I feel like a kid again!” said Steven. “I am exclusively hunting with this from here on out. I killed this hog that was over 200 pounds in Monroe County just after deer season ended.”
After watching a smaller buck, Lamar Hemmings, of Columbus, saw this big 7-pointer come out. Lamar made a good shot, and his Marion County buck didn’t go far.
Matthew White, of Jesup, with his super Wayne County buck. Matthew got the 10-pointer on Oct. 20.
Eatonton’s Bobby Knight has killed a slew of good bow-bucks over the years. He got this 9-pointer on Oct. 30. It netted 122 7/8 and is the No. 13 Putnam County bow-buck of all-time.
Hunting a scrape line in some hardwoods full of white oaks paid off for James Mitchell, of Covington. James killed this 9-pointer in Putnam County last season on Nov. 13.
Congrats to Jeanine McCormick, of Enigma, on her first buck ever. “I was so nervous I could barely hold the gun still,” Jeanine said. She was hunting in Worth County last November.
Jeff Pipe, of Marietta, got this thick 8-point buck last Nov. 9 while hunting in a Heard County creek bottom.
Wayne Crummey, of Baxley, got his biggest buck to date when he grunted in this wide-racked Worth County 12-pointer on Nov. 9.
