Bonnie Gentry, of Carrollton, killed this big 16-pointer last Nov. 16 in Carroll County. The buck had more than 160 total inches of antler.

Yogi Reaves, a disabled Vietnam vet from Rockmart, shot this 8-point buck last season in Polk County. Yogi said it’s the best buck he’s seen in 17 years of hunting the property.

This pretty buck was checking a scrape line at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 7 last season after rain showers that morning. Randy Hanson, of Hampton, shot the 12-pointer in Pike County.

This Crawford County 8-pointer was heading toward another buck that was dogging a doe last Nov. 5. Steve Edwards, of Locust Grove, shot the buck as it entered a food plot.

In last month’s Fab 40 article, pictures of all but a few of the Top-40 bucks of last season were published. Here’s one that came in just after the pages went to press. Wes Griffith had the No. 20 buck last season with this Lee County non-typical that netted 174 4/8.

Here’s one of two mature gobblers taken by Tony Turner, of Byron, while hunting at B&M Hunting Club in Jones County last season.

Janice Gunnin, of Carlton, caught an impressive mess of catfish on the Oconee River while limb lining this summer. That big flathead at the bottom of the stringer weighed 36 pounds.

Justin Holland, of Wrightsville, rolled a 10-pounder while fishing a private pond in Johnson County. He also caught a 7 1/2-lb. bass that same trip.

Dennis Hupman, of Lawrenceville, was fishing from a dock at Lake Hartwell when he caught this big bream on a nightcawler in May of 2015. “Sure wish I had called someone to weigh it,” Dennis said.

This 33-lb. striper was caught by Brandon Myers, of Marietta. Brandon was fishing a Bartow County tributary on July 13 when he caught the lineside.

Randy Grice, a GON subscriber from Avon Park, was hunting in Brooks County the day after Thanksgiving when he shot this 10-point buck.

Andew Martin, of Toccoa, and Jarrod Rollins, of Pine Log, with a couple of trout caught in the Gilmer/Fannin county area of the Georgia mountains.

Lisa Holman with her 10-point buck taken last season in Taylor County.

Chuck Morgan got this Whitfield County gobbler on opening morning last turkey season. The 21-lb. bird had 1-inch spurs and a 9 3/4-inch beard.

Chris Roesner, of Commerce, has only been deer hunting a few years, and this was his second-ever buck. He killed the 8-pointer in Jackson County on Nov. 26.
