Get Your Deer Rack Measured

Below is a list of certified scorers you can contact to have your rack officially scored for GON’s County-by-County and WMA records, and also for the all-time records of the Boone & Crockett Club or the Pope & Young Club if your buck meets the minimums for those national organizations.

Please always keep in mind that these measurers are volunteers, and they score racks (or choose not to) according to their schedules. These men and women are not always available, or perhaps they may be taking time off and are not scoring racks at all at the time they are contacted.

Also keep in mind that some Boone & Crockett measurers may choose to only measure racks that might make the B&C record books. Likewise, Pope & Young measurers typically only want to measure archery bucks, and some only want to measure racks that might make the P&Y record books. Please be considerate.

We also have official scorers each year at the Outdoor Blast.

All scores are final. Hunters are not allowed to get a rack re-measured by a different measurer. “Score-shopping” can lead to exclusion of a buck from GON’s all-time records.

Once your rack is measured, take a picture of the signed score sheet with the scorer’s certification number (include additional picture of the back of the score sheet if that’s where it is signed). Email the picture of the score sheet to [email protected]. It is not required, but you may also include a photo of the hunter with the buck for possible inclusion in the online version of GON’s all-time records.
