Hunt Story

I'm a blessed man! I'm very grateful to the landowners for the opportunity to have a place to hunt. Heavy fog on the day of harvest. As the fog lifted, he very slowly worked his way to me traveling an abandoned logging road. He was by himself and I had the wind in my favor. This was not the first time he and I ended up at the same place at the same time. However, this time I left my bow at home and carried my rifle at the strong advice from my friend Jay. My abilities with my rifle were far greater than the 55 yards that we were accustomed to meeting at with my bow. It was a great harvest. The only thing that would have made it any better would have been for one of my wonderful daughters (who love to hunt) to have harvested him. I'll never forget that day and will forever be reminded of that morning every time I see a foggy morning. Thank you Lord!
