Hunt Story
This buck we named Ghost earned his name very quickly. After having several encounters, I never could seem to seal the deal, something would always go wrong. On Oct. 4 everything came together and worked out perfectly. He came in at 30 yards and I let the arrow fly. I knew I hit him good. I watch my video footage over and over, which made me confident in my shot. We let him lay for an hour and a half before tracking. He went maybe 60 yards before we recovered him. This is a hunt I’ll never forget.
