Hunt Story
Hunted everyday from the week before Thanksgiving until Dec 8th when I killed him. Saw zero chasing or any signs of the rut other than scrapes in the area. That morning it was 26 degrees and with the wind chill was 17 at daylight. I was hunting a oak ridge next to some mountain laurel when he stepped out eating under a giant red oak tree and was able to drop him where he stood.
