Hunt Story
I was hunting the evening of 10/08/2024 and seeing some does early, and right at dusk the 11-pointer came In from his bedding area headed to some white oak acorns that were starting to drop. He was 30 to 35 yards when he entered the food plot opening, I waited till he was broad sided and I took the shot with my crossbow. He humped up and kicked and ran back in the thick cutover in the creek bottom. I saw some blood and decided to give him some time. I returned at 6:30 am on 10/09/2024. He ran about 80 yards, there were a lot of rubs and scrapes down that trail. I let this deer walk the last 3 years, he was 130 last year. I did not take a buck last year. God really blessed me today. Thank you Jesus.
