Hunt Story
We scouted the area earlier in the day, around lunch, and found a lot of buck sign. We found a good pinch point between a swamp and the river. We came back in the area around 3 p.m. and hung our stands. Within 15 minutes the deer came easing out of the privet thicket. Will made a 20-yard shot and dropped the deer in his tracks! What a day!! According to the taxidermist, this deer will gross 163!!
