Hunt Story
Heard this deer chasing a doe through a pond in the middle of a second-year clearcut. With several deer around, I had to sit and listen and wait on them to leave. Once all the deer around me left, I grunted and rattled as loud as I could. No sooner than I sat the antlers down I saw his rack over the top of the brush in the clearcut and he was coming straight to me. I was able to make a good shot and he fell right there.
