Hunt Story
At about 6:15 p.m., a small young buck came out of a hardwood bottom into an agricultural field and was grunting. At 6:20, Wilkes heard two bucks fighting down in the bottom that the small buck came out of. Wilkes grunted a few times, and the small buck laid down in some tall grass out in the field. At 6:25 this larger buck ran out, and Wilkes shot him at about 120 yards. He fell dead.
