Hunt Story
After school on October 25th, 2023 9-year-old, Whitley Griffeth took to the woods with her Father. They were hunting in a pop-up ground blind when a buttonhead came feeding into the food plot followed by this 8-pointer with heavy palmation. Whitley attempted a perfect 40-yard broadside shot, only to have her gun misfire. Her Father took her gun and chambered another bullet as quietly as possible as the buck stopped on the edge of the woodline to make a scrape. Whitley's shot was perfect, dropping the buck in his tracks... in the scrape. This was her second buck of the season, filling her buck tags for 2023.
