Hunt Story
Westin was hunting with his mom Lindsey. Around 5:15 p.m. they could hear a lot of noise coming from a hardwood bottom. After a few minutes a doe ran out on the power line, it was followed by the 8-point. The 8-point stopped and Westin attempted to shoot it. His gun wouldn’t fire. His mom took the gun and couldn’t find anything wrong with it, so she gave it back to him and he attempted to shoot again. The gun still wouldn’t fire. Luckily Westin’s mom had her gun so she gave it to Westin, and he used it to shoot the buck at a little over 100 yards. The buck ran off about 50 yards.
