I have had Scrap Heap on camera all Summer. He reliably came into a hardwood ridge most afternoons. I have taken other good bucks there before. He came in with 4 other bucks. They were beginning to fight for dominance. It took about 30 minutes for him to give a shot. It was a fairly steep angle and he tried to duck the shot. I didn’t hit him where I wanted but he only made it about 60 yards. Unfortunately that allowed him to go down a ravine. It took two hours and a very good friend to get him to the truck. Great hunt. Will never forget it.
