I have been following this buck closely all summer and had him narrowed down to a pretty small area where I thought he was living. I had daylight pictures of him pretty consistently leading up to the hunt, I just needed any kind of wind out of the North to hunt him. I saw him Tuesday evening but never could get a shot, so I tried again Wednesday evening. He stepped out around 7:15 100 yards away and slowly made his way in my direction feeding on pin oaks and browsing. At 7:45 he presented me with a 30-yard broadside shot. After following through with my shot I watched him run about 50 yards and pile up.
