Hunt Story
I was hunting a crossroad stand watching three fields when I heard noises coming from a hardwood bottom, thinking it was fox squirrels. About 20 minutes later three does came out in the far field grazing. Ten minutes later a fourth doe came. She appeared to have limp, and I was looking at her to determine if it was a serve injury or not, she appeared to be healthy. I kept watching the area they came from when I noticed a large deer appear, he was following them but he wasn't chasing them, his neck was swollen. When I determine he was a shooter, I put my crosshair on his neck and squeezed the trigger, he went down on the spot.
