Hunt Story
This was a buck that I had on camera in the summer. He left the area where I hunt for most of the fall but came back on my cameras in December. I guessed where he might be bedding and set a stand to try and kill him getting back to bed after daylight. On January 8th he came in following some does and gave me a 20-yard shot. I didn’t see him fall in sight and so I left the area quietly and came back several hours later. Some friends and I recovered him approximately 150 yards from where I shot him.
