Hunt Story
Me and my father went to our property although it had done a lot of raining. I was sitting in my ladder stand situated on a creek bottom when the deer appeared across the creek around 9:00 a.m. I finally got him in my scope and pulled the trigger. The deer bolted and ran back the way he came from. I got down and finally found a shallow enough spot to cross the creek and went to the place where the deer was standing. I only found a few drops of blood, but after tracking the way the deer ran through the leaves, I found him about 50 yards on a sloped side of the creek bottom.
