Hunt Story
After over 50 sits and a series of unfortunate events, I got my biggest buck to date while walking back to my truck. FDW 126 lbs, Age 3.5 yrs 150.75” raw score (with outside width and tip to tip). I was walking back to my truck at 1150 with my climber stand on my back and backpack on my front and spooked a doe and a different buck (didn’t see this guy), standing and waiting 5-10 min for the doe to start walking, I chambered a round, uncapped my lense covers and took a video of the doe all while making eye contact 40 yards away, then the doe walked ahead and then this guy walked out behind her. Not even 3 seconds later I shot him and found him 50 yards away in their bed. Only had to drag him 80-90 yards.
