Hunt Story
We got in the condo around 3:30 and as always had to make sure he had his essentials snacks, drink, and heater. Around 5 he says dad there’s a buck. So I proceed to look at him and then take another couple of looks before I let him take the shot. Trophy management is a top priority but for a kid's first ever deer I could not tell him no. He got his 7mm08 and took the shot, and I think I was just shocked as he was to see him fall where he stood. Look forward to many more years of hunting together but he’s set his bar pretty high for the next one.
